SFTP does not download the file, then errors

I just installed LogExpoert 1.21.0.0. I am trying to use the SFTP function to access a remote log file. I craft the URL, and then it asks for my password (as expected). The status message at the bottom changes to "Loading file", but nothing ever happens. After waiting for over 5 minutes, I clicked the menu in LogExpert and got the error below. The log file was only 6K. I tried other files from different servers and got the same behavior.

FYI, I am able to access the same log file via SFTP with FIleZilla.

can you try this with version 1.30? there have been a few bugs with persistence files,

I think the problem could be, that LogExpert tries to save the lxp (the session file) to the position of the sftp file on the server and that does not work.

I checked it, I get the error as well, I know the root cause, its because the filerollover does not finde the next file, so it throws an exception.
