My Issue/Suggestion

The wording on the page is confusing for customers.

Mendix business events work on a local kafka as well, the event broker. runs in our cloud, but you can bring your own.

No, that is currently not supported when using Mendix Cloud Event Broker. This can be achieved on your own Kafka cluster.
