reCAPTCHA not working, test just spins, no errors anywhere

Describe the bug
Some apps have started to not allow me to log in. I suspect its related to reCAPTCHA. On MicroG "Test Recaptcha" the recaptcha dialog comes up but the bar at the bottom just scrolls across and it sits there doing this indefinitely. recaptcha enterprise works fine.

Test recaptcha
Expected behavior
No idea but the current behavior. Ultimately the test should pass.

I've tried multiple devices with different OS (Iode, LineageOS with MicroG). Same affect.
Tried different settings in MicroG
Tried different networks
Tried logcat with root but no applicable errors listed

The reCAPTCHA will probably need the permission to draw over other apps, check that microG have this permission.

Thats for the reply, I have checked, MicroG services has that permission (allow to draw over other apps). It also has all the normal permissions that it has requested. The screenshot above is overlayed over the settings window, which implies the drawing over other apps bit is working.
