orb.local does not resolve

Describe the bug

If I quit OrbStack and open it again without restarting my laptop all .local domains fail to resolve.
I get the following error
net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

This is not a privacy issue as the domains work well in Chrome if I restart my laptop. I do not have 'start on login' turned on.

To Reproduce

1. Leave laptop running for a while and quit OrbStack
2. Restart OrbStack and go to http://orb.local or https://orb.local

Expected behavior

orb.local and other .local domains resolve without error
