Explanation of Change

As part of the loading indicator standardization, this replaces FullscreenLoadingIndicator with ActivityIndicator (wrapped in a View with identical styling) in ConfirmCustomListStep.tsx.

ConfirmCustomListStep is rendered inside NetSuiteImportAddCustomListContent, which uses ConnectionLayout with a back button in the header. When shouldUseGoBackButton is later enabled by default on FullscreenLoadingIndicator, users would see two back controls. By switching to ActivityIndicator with a manually styled wrapper View, we preserve the exact same visual appearance (same background color, opacity, centered large spinner) while avoiding the future duplicate back button.

The wrapper View applies StyleSheet.absoluteFillObject, styles.fullScreenLoading, and styles.w100 — the same styles that FullscreenLoadingIndicator uses internally on its outer container.

Tests

  1. Navigate to a workspace with NetSuite connected
  2. Go to Accounting > NetSuite > Import > Custom Lists > Add new
  3. Fill in all substeps (List Name, Transaction Field ID, Mapping)
  4. On the final confirmation step, verify the loading spinner appears centered with the same background and opacity as before while data is hydrating
  5. Verify the confirmation screen renders correctly once data is loaded
  • Verify that no errors appear in the JS console

Offline tests

  1. Go offline before reaching the ConfirmCustomListStep
  2. Verify the loading spinner displays correctly
  3. Go back online and verify the confirmation step loads normally

QA Steps

  1. Navigate to a workspace with NetSuite connected
  2. Go to Accounting > NetSuite > Import > Custom Lists > Add new
  3. Complete all substeps and reach the confirmation step
  4. Verify the loading indicator displays correctly (centered spinner with background)
  5. Verify the confirmation content loads properly after data hydration
  • Verify that no errors appear in the JS console

    • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
    • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
  • If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
  • I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
  • I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)

Swap FullscreenLoadingIndicator for an ActivityIndicator wrapped in a View
with identical layout and background styling (absoluteFillObject,
fullScreenLoading, w100). This prevents a duplicate back control when
shouldUseGoBackButton is later enabled by default.

Fixed the failing ESLint check: replaced deprecated StyleSheet.absoluteFillObject with StyleSheet.absoluteFill in ConfirmCustomListStep.tsx.
