I'm an HR practitioner by trade. But at some point I got curious about what I could build โ€” and I stopped waiting for someone to give me permission to find out.

That curiosity led me to build interactive tools that make leadership and organizational behavior tangible. Simulations. Games. Things you can actually feel rather than just read about. Most of it I figured out as I went, using AI as a thinking partner and collaborator. None of it required a computer science degree. It required showing up and not talking myself out of it.

This repository is the record of that.

The thing I keep coming back to

Organizations spend enormous energy waiting โ€” for the right budget, the right mandate, the right moment. People do the same thing. They wait for someone to tell them it's okay to build, to try, to lead.

Nobody's coming with that permission slip.

Self-leadership isn't a soft skill. It's a decision you make about whether you're going to be a spectator in your own professional life or not. And I try to practice it myself โ€” imperfectly, openly, in public.

What I've learned by building

  • Curiosity compounds. The first thing you ship teaches you more than five years of reading about it.
  • AI is a collaborator, not a shortcut. The quality of what you build with it depends entirely on the quality of your thinking going in.
  • Making something interactive forces honesty. You can't hide vague ideas behind good slides when someone has to play the concept.
  • The gap between "I could never do that" and doing it is mostly just starting.

๐Ÿง  HR Tools & Simulations

Interactive tools built for HR practitioners, people leaders, and OD professionals.

Tool Description
The Hire Wire Leadership judgment game โ€” $500K budget, 5 hires, 9 simulated months. Who you pick says everything.
The Behavior Gap Why training rarely changes behavior โ€” and what the four forces that actually shape it are.
Team Dynamics Puzzle Belbin-informed team composition tool. Role balance is necessary. Not sufficient.
HR Sanity Check Diagnostic for HR practitioners and managers. Are you solving the right problems, or just staying busy?
Comp Decoder Decode any job offer โ€” base, bonus, equity, benefits โ€” and know exactly what to ask for.
M&A Leadership Simulator Navigate the human side of a merger. The spreadsheet doesn't capture this part.
TrueRecord Privacy-first grievance reporting portal with cryptographic audit chain. No server. No backend.

๐ŸŽฎ Browser Games

Single-file HTML5. No install. No account. Click and play.

Game Genre
Sumi's Journal ๅขจใฎๆ—ฅ่ชŒ Puzzle / Narrative โ€” cyberpunk signal routing with procedural gamelan soundtrack
NULLZONE Block Puzzle / Cyberpunk โ€” Tetris meets 1010! inside a hacking narrative
Sunlit Hollow Idle / Cozy โ€” grow a mystical forest with procedural ambient audio and a rebirth system
The Mirror Pool Puzzle / Folklore โ€” kitsune tile-swap with dual-world mechanics
UFO Raider Arcade / Synthwave โ€” side-scroller with escalating wanted level and combo multipliers
Lumen Office RPG Narrative RPG / Horror โ€” corporate mystery with sanity mechanics and four endings

What I do

I'm an HR Business Partner and OD practitioner with an SPHR and an MS in Human Resource Development. I'm curious about leadership development, organizational design, and the stubborn gap between what organizations say they value and what their systems actually reward.

I also build things โ€” simulations, diagnostic tools, browser games โ€” that make complex people-system dynamics playable.

Let's talk if you're

  • Building something at the intersection of HR, learning, and technology
  • Curious about applying AI to organizational development
  • Working on leadership development that actually changes behavior
  • Just tired of waiting for permission and want to think out loud with someone who gets it

You don't need a title to lead. You just need to decide.
