…wn, the map shades don't update. After that, the data for the shades and popups appears not to correspond to the (correct, or at least consistent) permits issued per year and maxNumPermits.

There was a little extra work at the beginning concerned with being able to run the code from my Mac. Should work as before for others users, but also support arm64 now.
